Here's a little overview of how our ice cream is made....

First we get the ingredients just right....
The finest ingredients including Tasmanian fresh cream are weighed to make the Valhalla base mix
Then we pasteurise....
Once the cream is pasteurised the base ice cream mix is strained and measured
Ever wondered how the flavour gets in?
Colours and flavours are added to the base mix before transferring to the batch freezer.
Into the ice cream maker to be whipped and frozen....
This is how your ice cream gets that lovely light creamy texture
Scooping out the ice cream into our tubs
After the mix had been whipped and frozen the ice cream is ready to be transferred into litre or 5 litre containers.
Our tubs are filled and packed ready for the freezer.
The containers are packed and transferred to the freezer storage area where the ice cream is then stored at minus 25 degrees
Getting freshly made ice cream to our customers...
Customers orders are picked and packed into outer cartons ready for delivery
